About Cornwall Soap Box

We are a Cornish family business making hand made soaps, aromatherapy candles and skin care products using natural, fairly traded and organic ingredients.

We are based on the Wharf (the harbour front) in St Ives where we can offer a full range of soaps, candles, skin care products and other "life-style" items.

Suzanne is a qualified aromatherapist and complimentary therapist and uses her knowledge and skills to source and blend the best pure essential oils that can be found and then blends them into all the products we make.

Mike is the soap maker and has been using the traditional ( "cold process") method for making the soap and shampoo bars for 10 years. This method ensures that the naturally produced glycerine is retained in the bars and thereby helps to moisturise the skin. African unrefined Shea Butter is added at trace to the finest of natural oils to ensure that as many of the properties of the Shea Butter are retained in the final product.

We have an ethical and sustainable procurement policy and use fairly traded organic Shea and Cocoa Butter which we have sourced from a woman's cooperative in Africa.

Mike runs his popular soap making workshops on the last Saturday of each month.

We also make Guest Soaps for hotels and guest houses in 25g and 50g bars and would be pleased to discuss your requirements
