New Shop

Harvey's Foundry development scheme covers two hectares on the former Foundry site in Hayle and is intended to reverse the decline of this important part of the town's industrial heritage.

Harvey's Foundry was a powerhouse of industry on a massive scale. As well as the main foundries, it also boasted a boring mill, fitting shop, pattern shop and stores, extensive offices, hammer mills, ropery, grist mill, timber store houses and Foundry Farm.
