Welcome to our first edition of the Cornwall Soap Box newsletter and Happy New Year!

As a past customer, we hope that you enjoy the newsletter. From time to time, we will be suggesting special offers which will be available by ordering through our website and as a subscriber to the newsletter, you will be the first to receive notification.

In 2010, we opened our new shop in the lovely Cornish town of St Ives. The shop is located on the harbour front and has fantastic views across St Ives Bay. If you live locally or visiting Cornwall on holiday, please pop in to see us. We are always bringing new products into the shop and hopefully you’ll find something unique.

Soap Making Workshops

Learn how to make traditional soap in modern surroundings in the beautiful town of St Ives in Cornwall.

The workshops will be run by Mike Sowden, soap-maker for Cornwall Soap Box who has been making cold process soap for the business for the past 8 years.

The workshops will be held on the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 4pm with the first session taking place on 25th February. The workshop is primarily aimed at beginners and will include basic recipes, soap-making procedure and all the ingredients necessary to make traditional soap. The cost of the course is £95 which will include a £15 voucher redeemable against soap-making supplies available at the venue.

For those coming from out of the county, why not make a weekend of it. St Ives is a magical place. It is easily accessible by road and is linked by a train service which takes you right into the heart of the town.
